1. Booking and weather conditions
By booking a date, you agree to my terms and conditions and acknowledge that weather conditions may affect the shoot. Overcast weather does not prevent a photoshoot, but it may influence the color of the water in the images, making it less vibrant. Cloudy skies or the absence of direct sunlight are not grounds for cancellation or rescheduling.
Rescheduling is possible only in cases of heavy rain or strong wind when the photoshoot is genuinely impossible. If you cancel the shoot due to overcast weather, the deposit is non-refundable.
2. Deposit and cancellation policy
A booking is confirmed only after the deposit is paid. All detailed discussions, including styling and look preparation, take place after the deposit has been received.
If you cancel the shoot 14 days or more before the scheduled date, the deposit is refunded in full.
If the cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the shoot, the deposit is non-refundable and is retained as compensation for the time reserved and preparation completed.
If the shoot is cancelled on my initiative, the deposit is refunded regardless of the timing.
(In accordance with Articles 380 and 381 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the deposit serves as security for the fulfillment of obligations by both parties. If the client withdraws from the agreement less than 14 days before the shoot, the deposit is not subject to refund.)
3. Editing and artistic style
I do not provide unedited RAW files. All images are delivered with my signature editing and color grading. If you are familiar with my work and appreciate my style, it means our visual preferences align and the final result will meet your expectations.
4. Photoshoot process
The photoshoot is conducted in a calm, unhurried manner with a focus on quality and result. I recommend allowing a bit of extra time; this does not affect the agreed price.
Natural pauses may occur due to weather or location factors, such as waiting for suitable light, clouds, or moments without passersby. The beach and the ocean are dynamic environments, and this is part of the process.
5. Locations
One photoshoot is held within one beach area, including all movement within its boundaries. Shooting in multiple locations is discussed individually and involves additional time and cost, resulting in a more diverse final gallery.
6. Pricing
The price does not change depending on the location or the distance I need to travel to photograph you.
7. Use of images
I reserve the right to publish your photographs on my website and social media for promotional purposes. If you prefer your images not to be published, please inform me in advance. In this case, I will decide whether I am able to proceed with the photoshoot.
I respect your right to privacy. By default, as a photographer and in accordance with international practice, I may use photographs and videos from the photoshoot in my portfolio and on social media. If you prefer the materials not to be published, please let me know in advance, before the deposit is paid.
In my work, I place great emphasis on naturalness, mood, and atmosphere. My editing is focused on creating a harmonious, refined image without significant changes to appearance.
Basic editing includes:
• color correction — working with color, light, and contrast to convey the mood and feeling of the images;
• light and delicate skin smoothing over the entire body, preserving natural texture without a “plastic” effect. In most cases, no additional skin retouching is required.
Basic editing does not include:
• body shape or proportion changes (reducing body parts, folds, stomach, arms, or legs);
• removal of noticeable tan lines, such as strong swimsuit marks;
• removal of a large amount of facial hair in windy conditions;
• complete removal of seaweed on the beach.
More detailed retouching is available for an additional fee of $5 per image.
I always recommend trusting me with the choice of location, as I know where seaweed is minimal and where the light and surroundings are most flattering for the photoshoot.
